I've played Cyclades a handful of times and had some issues with the static map setup and the game overstaying its welcome after multiple rounds of leader bashing followed by an abrupt ending as someone makes it out of the crab bucket eventually. I've never played with expansions, but it doesn't get played enough to warrant the investment. I would probably trade up and sell my old copy if a decently priced used copy of LE becomes available.
