A lightweight card game for 2-6 players, Doomlings can be played casually amongst friends, or competitively by the gaming enthusiast family. Because there are no duplicate cards, and Age cards (rounds) are chosen randomly, no two games are ever the same. While the game itself can be learned in 5 minutes or less, don’t be fooled by the seemingly simple mechanics. Doomlings features 100+ unique traits—in Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Colorless—and with rare and powerful Dominant traits, there are countless combinations and play-styles to be discovered across multiple playthroughs. A typical game takes between 20-45 minutes, depending on the number of players and sequence of events. Can you survive the end of the world?”
I prefer video reviews. I can play them faster and I like seeing what the game looks like.
Board games are about slowing down and having fun with Luther’s compared to video games. The art and the randomness makes this game accessible for all, worth a try.

I prefer the video reviews, although a solid written review with lots of images can often be just as good! Lots of photos is the key!
I believe both written and video reviews have their place. Sometimes I like to read the reviews (when I should be working), but I prefer video reviews so I can get a feel for the components and how they interact with one another.

I prefer video reviews myself… find it easier to understand and take on board when explained to me rather than reading.
Both are fine, I’m more apt to watch a shorter video than longer (5-10 min vs 45+), and I tend to read more reviews than watch them when researching a game because I can get so much more information reading.

I prefer a written review and I am more likely to interact with them. I prefer video for play through examples or rules explanations.
I prefer both written and video reviews, but it depends on a couple of factors:
Video – If I am wanting to view game mechanics, or unboxing/packdown info then video reviews are better
Written – If I understand the mechanics and I just want to know what people’s thoughts on the game are then i prefer written reviews. Plus being able to see pictures of components really helps

I definitely prefer video reviews. A picture says 1000 words right? It’s much easier for me to understand the mechanics of a game by seeing it.

Video reviews are best if they are under 10 minutes, and presenter does not ramble.
Written reviews are good if they have at least a couple good pictures, and or the net is flaky that day. Ending opinions tend to be more thought out, because of the act of writing.
