VAN NUYS, Calif. Oct. 5, 2023– Tabletop News, the tabletop gaming industry’s first consolidated weekly news series, is launching on October 19, 2023. The launch of Tabletop News marks the first time the gaming community will have a single source for breaking news on board games, card games, and tabletop role-playing games delivered in a studio-quality, short video format.
Tabletop News will release new episodes weekly on Thursdays at 12 p.m. (PT) on the @watchtabletop YouTube channel and then distribute individual segments across all @watchtabletop social platforms as digestible “micro stories.” The result is content that meets the audience wherever they are in a format they can enjoy at their own pace.
The launch of Tabletop News follows a successful, six-figure Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign that took place between March and April of this year. Tabletop gaming enthusiasts from across the world came together to pledge their support for the crowdfunded news show created for gamers by gamers.

Tabletop News aims to show the full spectrum of tabletop gaming by reporting the latest on product releases, celebrity interviews, community events, tabletop-focused entertainment, and more. The show’s commitment to highlighting independent creators will serve to enrich the tabletop community with a broader array of projects to support and games to play. An emphasis on BIPOC and other marginalized voices will help promote a more inclusive community for all. This fast-paced, weekly news show is a unique opportunity for the multi-faceted world of tabletop gaming to connect and share their enthusiasm, talent, and ideas through a single source.
