Greame Johnston – Reviewer
I was born in Scotland in the before times and today I’m a teacher, which comes in handy when managing my rowdy, emotionally challenged, adolescent chums at the games table. And, obviously, I’m also a geek! But you don’t care about all that. You’re here for the games, right?
The first boardgame that was mine was Parker Bros ‘Escape from Colditz’, which ignited a passion that now empties my wallet regularly. I wouldn’t recommend ‘…Colditz’ to you now but, ahh, the memories. I have owned more than 1,000 games since then(1303 to be precise-did I mention that I’m a geek?) and played a whole lot more.
In those carefree days of sunshine, glam rock and Scotland at World Cups I played a load of war games- Euro games hadn’t been invented yet. Now, I’ll play almost anything if I think it’ll be fun. Shout out to Happy Salmon. As for my favourite game? Today, it is Stationfall. But tomorrow I might give you a different answer.
