I can't decide if I want this for myself, or for my brother-in-law, the doctor.

I love long games. I don't mind watching videos for 3-10 hours before playing, so I know the rules well, then teaching when I host. I even have a shirt that says "I read the rules so you don't have to."

My lawyer wife will probably hate this. I'm going to love it. And teasing her.

Oldest I still play is probably Omega Virus. Other possible options are the original Heroquest (though blinged out with tons of fan content), Battle Masters, or Torpedo Run!

I live in Pittsburgh. My father-in-law is from Illinois, but i have never been. I periodically visit local meetups and when I play with someone I enjoy playing with, I invite them to my game nights. If you're ever passing through, you're welcome to stop by.

I have two tables because I host every week, and often have 6-12 people at once. We sometimes have to set up a 3rd folding table. I sometimes wish I had a larger table - games like Eclipse, Voidfall, Revenant, and Frosthaven are such massive table hogs.

Schrödinger's Cats is a fun variant of Liar's Dice Old Biddies is a fun game where you are a grandmother trying to attract the most cats to your home. Mlem is enjoyable if you like push-your-luck games Cathood is a pick-up and deliver, area majority game about doing cat stuff Pack the Essentials...

I am in a similar place. BGG says I have 539 base games, 240 expansions. I know it isn't 100% up to date because I haven't done a full resync since Origins and a few math trades last month. I doubt I will ever mass-sell, unless I have an emergency financial situation. My game room is just too...

I use it for collection tracking, math trades, and geeklists for conventions and "Most anticipated". I check it for rules clarifications, as it often has designers answering questions in the forums.

Sorry, that was what I was referrring to! Set up takes quite a while the first time because I had no idea what was supposed to go where, or what should be kept near other things. Now that I have a few plays under my belt, set-up takes about 10-15 minutes and tear-down about the same. Less if...

It took me quite a while the first time. The second was much faster now that I know what goes where. The game organization puts things next to one another so it goes fairly quickly once you know it.

Second time playing this massive new game. I love this thing. It's a better Battlestar Galactica game than Battlestar Galactica. Quite the table hog and it took us about 5 hours, but that was with teaching 3 new players, and small breaks for food and coffee. I love pretty much every Mindclash...

A few weeks ago, I won a $100 Amazon card in a giveaway here. I got distracted with Origins, but now that I have returned, the current Amazon Prime-Day sales proved too irresistible to pass up. I recently got a few expansions for a game I don't own accidentally in a math trade, so I took...

So, Clash of Cultures, The Colonists, War of the Ring, Marve: Age of Heroes, and The Witcher: Path of Destiny were all from the Math Trade, not purchased. I bought Star Trek: Captain's Chair immediately upon seeing it, as I love Star Trek and this was sold out everywhere prior to my going...

I got back from Origins last night, and am already in withdrawal. Had a ton of fun, but can't believe it's already over. Got quite a haul from it - I will be playing new stuff for weeks now!

As much as I love all the old cartoons, I only really get excited about toys for Voltron and Transformers. With the insane cost of everything these days, though, I am just as likely to not get them now as I was back then.

Facebook post, if I remember correctly.

I have been completely addicted to Planet Crafter recently. No combat, you just crash-land on a planet, scavenge resources, then build a base and unlock new tech to allow you to do more and more as you go, eventually letting you leave the planet to jump to others and repeat the process. It...

I am making a post but would like to be removed from this giveaway, as I just won a big one. That said, awesome idea and good luck, everyone!

I tend to hate anything that makes me feel like "Oh, I learned about this too late {i.e. their marketing didn't do a good job} so I get screwed out of a neat thing". Any kickstarter with Early Bird pricing? I won't back if I have to pay more just because you didn't do a good job telling me it...
