I have been fortunate to play lots of games the past couple of weeks. The following is a short summary: Wroth by Chip Theory Games (soon to be under their Neon Nights imprint) - I recently have become enamored with Chip Theory Games and I was able to trade a copy of Vinhos (which I had not...

First of all, thank you very much to @Everything Board Games for running the contest a couple of weeks back. I was fortunate enough to win a $100 Amazon Gift Card. While I did not get a board game per se, I did get something board game adjacent. My other hobby is printing lots of stuff with...

***whoops didn't realize this was for EBG giveaways*""" While supplies last I have gotten several free games from them in the past so this is legit. https://theop.games/pages/bgg-hummingbirds

I just got done updating my board game collection in BGG (hadn't been keeping it updated recently). Turns out have hae 512 base games and over 300 expansions/promos... I could easily get rid of 50 of those base games, but the others would be harder. Curious how many games others have and if...

I picked up the Stonemaier version of Tokaido Duo when it was released, but just got it to the table this weekend. I'm not sure whether there are any gameplay differences between this version and the original Funforge version. From what I can tell, the main additions are a solo mode and some...

Borrowed this one from a buddy. My son and I got it to the table this morning. Overall, it has the same feeling as the other games which, to me, is a good thing. It adds some new keywords and such, but it just adds some cool new hereos and villains from the What If television series. I...

Flamecraft duals (deluxe) is one of the best productions of a game I have ever played. It plays nothing like it's namesake, but it is a fun game where you are drawing a dragon tile out of a bag. You place it on the grid and "fire" the dragons special power. Some dragons allow you to move...

Alright, I am final ok to admit this. I am now a cat person. Up until this January I would have sworn cats were the worst thing ever. And now we have two. I want to get some more games with cats/cat theme to play with my 12.and 15 year old. I used to own Isle of Cars and and currently...

I know everyone does not get the opportunity (or doesn't want to go) to go to Gen.Con, but it's the season of a lot of new releases. Curious if anyone has seen games releasing at Gen Con that they are excited about (and why)? I am personally very excited about Brave & Bold. Think Dice...

Not a bad week. Still going to at least get a round of Tacta in too.

Picked this up for my brother in law as a thank you for helping me with a plumbing project. Growing up in the 80's and 90's had given me a love for the Turtles. Being able to team up against Shredder and his minions (Bebop/Rocksteady, Rat King, Wingnut, and Leatherhead was amazing. We got...

My local board game store was having a sale ther included 40% off their consignment sales. Was able to pick up the deluxe edition of Neon Reign for $15. Looked neat. Anyone play it before?

If someone were to ask me if I wanted to play a game about taking fishing boats out and selling the fish to be canned .. I would have politely declined. Happened by chance on this one on FB buy/sell group for a great price and took a shot at it. I am 3 plays in over a 2 day period. Short, 30...

Any played this? What are people's thoughts. I am really getting into solo gaming and this one looks great. Luckily I have an oversized game table to fit it on!

I am looking to sell both Escape Plan and the Gallerist (both with the deluxe upgrades). If interested, let me know!!

What is everyone's thoughts? Does it hold up after a few plays. I am enamoured by the thought of the game and the amazing production value.

I go into hobby board games about 15 years ago. It all started with a game of Ticket to Ride. I was amazed by the simplicity, yet fun experience of the game. I was hooked. From there I essentially bought every game shown in the YT show Tabletop with Will Wheaton (King of Tokyo, Catan...
