FARK — Trust Dies FirstFARK™ is a folkloric hidden-role card game where silver and fire can solve most of your problems... and trusting your friends usually gets you killed.
Every player gets a secret role, and nobody really knows who they can trust. Villagers make up most of the group, but hidden among them are Werewolves and a Vampire, along with roles like the Doctor, Burgomaster, and Extirpator.
The Extirpator is revealed at the start of the game, while everyone else has to figure out who is CURSED before it's too late.
And this isn't just a game of sitting around pointing fingers.
Players draw cards and decide whether to play weapons and equipment or take actions to attack, defend, investigate, bluff, accuse, or form alliances.
You can also call for executions, forcing the group to decide who gets eliminated.
Of course, there's a tiny problem with that...
You might be wrong.
If a player's blood count is depleted, they're eliminated and reveal their role. So accusing the wrong person can be just as dangerous as the monsters themselves.
The different factions also have different ways to win. The Villagers, Burgomaster, Doctor, and Extirpator are trying to eliminate the Werewolves and Vampire. The Werewolves need to eliminate every non-monster player, while the Vampire has the particularly nasty goal of being the only one left standing.
Basically, trust no one.
WHAT MAKES FARK DIFFERENT?FARK combines social deduction and bluffing with take-that card play, so you're not just trying to figure out who's lying.
You're also trying to survive long enough to do something about it.
The campaign also includes optional scenarios that can add a little more story and atmosphere to the game. Your group can make up names, give the village some history, or just make things weird.

KICKSTARTERFARK launches on Kickstarter October 1, 2026 as part of Kickstarter's Witchstarter collection.
The game is for 4–13 players, ages 13+, with games running about 30–60 minutes.
