Usually we don’t have the time or energy. We have a Tables 4 Games table and we also have a few GripMats
Break From Reality Games. These look cool too though and I can’t wait to try one!

I don’t have a big game mat yet, but I certainly want one. I just use a couple smaller ones pieced together to play on. I’d love a big consistent mat to just leave on my table.

I use smaller game mats for card games at least but would love to have a bigger one

I love using a mat. I think it helps keep the game in better condition as well as making for a quieter gaming experience (if you are rolling dice or anything like that). I hate picking cards up off my table. It’s so much nicer to have a mat for that.

I don’t use a mat yet, I just haven’t gotten around to getting one yet. Hopefully soon!

I love them, they protect the table surface as well as the game, they make it easier to pick cards and components up off the table without damaging them. Storing them can be a pain (use a wine or rolled towel rack).

I haven’t picked up a game mat yet, but I want to. Both my table at home and the table at my friend’s (for our game night group), have leaves in the tables which create small gaps int he tables. This is ok for dining, but if you want to slide cards across the table, they always get caught up there. A nice, premium mat would convert it to a nice smooth playing surface. And, they may picking cards up a bit easier as well!

At home I usually use a game mat. It makes picking up cards so much easier! I don’t usually take it with me to game nights elsewhere, though.

I have never used a play mat but like the idea. It would make playing much easier and protect the table we use

I’ve used mats before, just not my own. I like them for an odd reason though. I have Muscular Dystrophy and tend to lean on tables with my elbows and forearms. I find the mats are usually cushy enough to make it a bit more comfortable for me.

we used a cover of some sort for years. once it was felt and now it is polyurethane or whatever the foam type is made from. I love playing on mats. especially since we have a mostly dedicated game table we build into a Murphy bed….it just feels nice to play on one and you can pick cards up more easily.

Game mats have been an unaffordable luxury so far.

I play a Texas Hold Em tournament with my neighbors ever month and this would be a very nice addition. I’m not sure why they don’t have a mat but it would be a nice addition. I’m going to mention it before the next game.
