Time: 30-60 minutes.
You can change history—or fight to preserve it.
In Watergate, one player takes on the role of President Nixon, attempting to cover up the Watergate scandal by hiding evidence and protecting his conspirators. The other takes on the role of The Washington Post, working to uncover the truth, gather evidence, and connect Nixon to the conspiracy.
Throughout the game, players alternate turns playing cards in one of two ways: use a card’s value to move evidence and momentum toward your side, or trigger its powerful event. Choose carefully—playing a card for its event may remove it from your deck for the rest of the game.
Every card presents a critical decision, and every piece of evidence can shift the investigation. Will Nixon successfully bury the truth, or will The Washington Post uncover the conspiracy and change the course of history?
