I kind of love how this expansion leans into those unpredictable, almost Wacky Steps in gameplay, especially with the new encounters and narrative twists they described. It reminds me of sessions where everything goes off the rails but in a fun way. Honestly, that chaos is what keeps these games memorable.

The global events changing priorities each round sounds like a strong way to keep the deckbuilding from settling into a predictable pattern.
